About Chabad Care

Chabad Care supports patients and families going through medical challenges, with a focus on real, practical help when it’s needed most.

We provide complimentary fresh meals delivered daily to hospital rooms, Shabbat dinner packages, and comfortable hospitality apartments located near major hospitals. Every detail is designed to ease the stress and uncertainty of being in the hospital.

At the heart of Chabad Care is a strong network of dedicated volunteers — students and young professionals — who make this work possible. From packing and delivering meals, to running a coffee cart across MUHC hospitals, preparing care packages, and visiting patients, they are constantly showing up for others across the city.

Beyond the services, Chabad Care is about making sure no one feels alone. It’s a community that shows up with care, consistency, and heart.

“At its heart, the MUHC Foundation is dedicated to supporting excellence in health care for our community. Chabad Care’s compassionate presence offers patients and families comfort, dignity, and solace — a gift that not only eases their journey but also nurtures true healing.”
