From the very beginning, the Essiminy family has played a meaningful role in supporting Chabad Care and its mission of helping those in need throughout the Montreal Jewish community. Proud parents of four boys, Patrick and Vanessa have instilled in their family a deep commitment to community involvement, generosity, and giving back, values reflected in the active engagement of the entire family, including their son Jeremy, a proud founding member of Chabad Care.

The Essiminy family is especially proud of the extraordinary impact Rabbi Shimon Partouche has had on the Montreal Jewish community through his vision, compassion, and unwavering dedication. His remarkable work supporting vulnerable members of the community facing health challenges, particularly through his involvement at the Glen Hospital, has brought comfort and support to countless families. His dedication to engaging and inspiring CEGEP and university students has also had a profound influence on the younger generation, strengthening Jewish identity, connection, and future communal leadership.

Patrick Essiminy is Partner, Head of the Montréal Employment & Labour Group, and a member of the Management Committee at Stikeman Elliott. He currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Federation CJA and is the Past President of Akiva School, in addition to having chaired several important Chabad initiatives over the years.

Vanessa Essiminy is actively involved in the Women’s Philanthropy division of Federation CJA and has long been dedicated to community and charitable causes throughout Montreal’s Jewish community.
